Running back Kevin Jones hopes to be back on the football field in September with the help of acupuncture. After tearing the connective tissue in the middle of his left foot last year, he had surgery to pin the bones back together. At the advise of his teammate Barry Stokes, Jones went to Dr. Ping - a martial artist of Chinese medicine. Ping does a technique that he calls Heat Acupuncture where he uses a hot box and his hands to direct intense heat deep into an acupuncture point. So far so good for Jones - whatever works to get him to the season opener.
